Today, nothing visible remains at ground level. The site belongs to a category of place that exists almost entirely on paper, known only because earlier surveyors saw something worth noting, and now surviving as a coordinate, a measurement, and a question.

The enclosure appeared on both the first and third editions of the Ordnance Survey six-inch maps, the third edition dating to 1933, which suggests it was still legible in some form well into the twentieth century before whatever remained was levelled, ploughed, or simply absorbed into the working land around it. Enclosures of this general type, oval or circular earthworks defined by a bank and ditch, are common across Ireland and are often associated with early medieval settlement or agriculture, serving as boundaries for a farmstead or small community. Whether this particular example was a ringfort, a field boundary of some other period, or something else entirely is not recorded. The dimensions, modest but not insignificant, indicate a human-scaled space rather than a ceremonial monument, but without excavation such distinctions remain speculative.
