Graveyard, Six-Mile-Bridge, Co. Clare

Burial Grounds
Six-Mile-Bridge takes its name from its position on the River Fin, roughly six miles from Limerick city, and the village has long served as a crossing point on one of the main routes into County Clare.
Beside that quiet passage through the landscape sits a graveyard that carries, as so many Irish burial grounds do, the layered weight of centuries of local use, though the particulars of its history remain frustratingly out of reach for now.
